Mission Statement:

It is the mission of Gate City Lacrosse L.L.C, to provide the lacrosse playing community of Greensboro and the surround areas the best possible lacrosse experience. In order to do this, Gate City Lacrosse will provide lacrosse leagues, camps, clinics and individual lessons of the highest quality. We only hire the best qualified coaches and officials in the area who strive to model their passion for this great game.

Schedule for the week beginning 7/26:

We are entering our last week of summer league. I personally want to thank everyone involved from the parents, players, coaches and officials. I also want to thank Proehlific Park for the use of their field and their support.

THERE ARE SOME CHANGES THAT ARE DIFFERENT TO THE MASTER SCHEDULE. THESE CHANGES INVOLVE THE ELEMENTARY BOY'S AND GIRL'S DIVISIONS AND THE HS GIRLS AND BOYS DIVISIONS, SO PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE SCHEDULE BELOW!

Please let me know of any feed back, good or bad, as my aim is to provide the past possible lacrosse playing experience.

2^nd Summer of Gate City Lacrosse

Details Finalized!

It has taken a while but we have finally got everything arranged. There will be a slight change of format from last year, but we are sure that this year will be even better.

This year the Gate City Summer League will be played indoors on Proehlific Park's state of the art indoor turf field. Some of the benefits of playing indoors include:

• No more games rescheduled due to bad weather!
• A more pleasant climate controlled environment!
• Great Lighting!
• No more mosquitoes biting you!

We have six weeks of lacrosse this summer starting the week of June 14^th and we will run through the week of July 25th. We will take a week of for the week of July 4^th.

Due to the fact that the indoor field smaller we will play slightly reduced sized games. All games will be 8 on 8. The men and the boy's will play with 1 goalie, 2 defensemen, 3 midfielders and 2 attackmen. We used this format for our winter indoor league and it proved to be very popular.

Games will start at 6pm. Once registration is complete we will publish a complete schedule of times of games.

Elementary Girls and Boys (Rising Grades 4-5)

Middle School Girls and Boys (Rising Grades 5-8)

Wednesdays

High School Girls and Boys

Thursdays

Men’s and Women’s League (ages 18+)

Registration is $130, but sign up before May 24^th and save $25
